Bangabandhu sheikh mujibur rahman Bangladesh
Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was born at 17th march 1920 in Gopalgoang. The name of his village is Tungipara. His father name is Sheikh Lutfur Rahman. He was born in a muslim family. In his childhood he was admitted into a local missionary school at the age of seven. After finishing his studies, he got married to Begum Fajilatunnessa. He had three sons and two daughters.
History of Bangladesh
While studying in school he started his political career. In 1947, when Pakistan was divided in two parts, name East Pakistan and West Pakistan. West Pakistani general declared that Urdu would be the state language of Pakistan in 1948.
In 1952, on 21 February a storm of protest start in the eastern part of the county. In this protest the student of Dhaka University also Rafiq, Jabbar, Salam, Barkot and many unknown person were killed by Pak army. After that on 7th march, 1971 in Dhaka Racecourse Ground Sheik Mujibur Rahman gave a speech to the Bengalis. The speech was 18 minutes.
The main line which inspires the bengalies is “Ebarer Shangram Amader Muktir Shangram, Ebarer Shangram Amader Shadhinatar Shangram.” At last in 26th march, 1971 we got declaration of our independence by Mejor Jia on behalf of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman from Kalur Ghat Betar, Chittagong. Today we live in an independent country. Mujib inspired people and we fought for our country. He is called father of the nation. August 15, 1975, the man, the leader of our nation was killed by the Straying Army at his own house Dhanmondi-32.
Today we are independent and every year we celebrate 17th march as birthday of Bangabandhu. Every year many school, college and organization organize different function to celebrate Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s birthday.
17th march is also a national holiday to celebrate the father of nation birthday. There are many TV programs and documentaries about Sheikh Mujib lifestyle and his contribution on the war of 1971 broadcast. We all remember him he is the father of nation. His speeches inspire all walks of people of Bangladesh till now.
