Jolie sold Churchill painting: Winston Churchill was the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom during World War II. Prior to joining politics, he served in senior positions in the military. He started painting at the age of 40. World War II is in full swing. At that time in 1943, out of love for the city of Morocco, he drew “The Tower of the Koutoubia Mosque”.

The oil painting is considered to be the most important painting by Churchill. He drew the picture while attending a conference in the famous Moroccan city of Casablanca. Hollywood star Angelina Jolie recently sold the painting at an auction for $11.5 million. And that auction has set a world record. Because no picture of Churchill has been sold for so much money before!

He collects them from different parts of the world with millions of dollars. Churchill gave the picture to US President Franklin Roosevelt on his birthday. Pitt bought the historic painting at an auction in 2011. He bought the picture and gave it to his lover Jolie.
