Porphyria disease vampire syndrome, Causes, Treatment

Every year, an organization called Scarecrow Vampire Fangs supplies 250,000 sets of vampire teeth to 35 countries around the world, especially during Halloween.

Sharp, pointed teeth float in the mind as soon as you hear the word vampire. This vampire immortal character appeared in Western folklore in the 18th century. However, most historians believe that Bram Stoker’s novel Dracula in 1897 was the first vampire character to have a needle attached.

Even the 1931 film Dracula, starring Bella Lugosi, did not have vampire teeth.

In the 1950s, Turkish and Mexican versions of Dracula began depicting teeth as vampires. However, the idea of a vampire’s sharp teeth took root in the 1958 British version of the Hammer film production of Christopher Lee’s Dracula.

In 1896, Irish writer Bram Stoker’s novel Dracula was published. Its first publication was Archibald Constable and Company. This novel became famous overnight. One of the reasons for this is the story and content of this novel. There are legends about ghosts in Asia. Almost everyone in the region grew up hearing ghost stories. Dakshinaranjan Mitra Majumdar’s (Thakumaar Jhuli) or ‘Grandma’s Bag’ and all the famous stories of ghosts in Asia are very popular. Similarly, in Europe and America, many people believe in the existence of a different kind of evil being instead of ghosts.

Another name for this evil being is ‘Vampire’. One of their foods is fresh blood. They can’t go out during the day. They roam at night. The novel “Dracula” is a combination of these vampires, where the reader is introduced to Count Dracula as a vampire. As a result, one of the places of interest of the readers is presented in a great way and the cut of this book increases.

Are there really vampire?

But is there really such a thing as a ‘vampire’? The same question is in the Indian subcontinent. Are there really ghosts? Do you really have to die in an accident to become a ghost? Does the soul really wander here and there without appearing, appearing in front of people?

However, it is not the purpose of this article to go into whether there are really vampires. The purpose of this article is to introduce you to a disease that will make you think that this patient is the real form of vampire.

Porphyria disease vampire

This disease is called ‘vampire syndrome’, which is also called ‘porphyria‘. It is not a disease but a genetic disorder. Many people say that this disorder is a hereditary disease. However, there are differences. This rare disease affects an average of one in a million people.

Porphyria symptoms

There are basically two types of porphyria. One is related to the skin of the body, which is called Cutaneous Porphyria. Another is related to the nervous system, called Acute Porphyria.

1. Dermal porphyria is referred to as ‘vampire syndrome’. One of the reasons for this is the nature of the syndrome.

2. People with this disease behave like vampires.

3. One of the symptoms of this disease is intolerance to sunlight or gradual browning of teeth.

4. Even the urine is brown.

5. Most of their body parts including face, hands, throat and ears are prone to damage when exposed to sunlight.

6. When exposed to sunlight, blisters appear on their skin.

7. Not only sunlight but also artificial light can sometimes damage their skin.

8. Skin color may change.

9. The skin will become thin and cracked.

 10. The hair on the affected area begins to grow abnormally.

11. Later they also lost their mental balance.

Acute porphyria is mainly related to the nerves of the body. The symptoms of this disease last for several weeks. However can often take on demonstrable shapes. Its symptoms are not related to vampires.

1. Severe pain in the chest, legs, back and abdomen of the body.

2. Diarrhea, constipation or nausea.

3. Muscle aches, numbness in the voice, paralysis and weakness.

4. Having urinary problems. Red or purple urine.

5. Being emotionally anxious, hesitant or hallucinated.

6. Heart disease, high blood pressure, irregular heartbeat.

Causes of Porphyria vampire disease

The main cause of this disease is the problem with the origin of a substance called ‘Heme‘ in our body. Heme is a protein in our blood’s hemoglobin that carries oxygen from the lungs to the rest of the body. One of the reasons for the red color of our blood is this substance called ‘Heme’. It contains iron, which gives the blood a red color. Originally it originated in the center of our liver and bone marrow bone sponges. Different types of enzymes work in the production of ‘Heme’.

Porphyria patients are deficient in this enzyme. This causes abnormal secretion of this enzyme. As a result, the body produces a substance called porphyrin, which can have serious effects on the skin or nerves. There is no control in its production. As a result, these two types of diseases are seen.

It can also be called a type of hereditary disease. If your father or mother has an autosomal dominant type defective gene in your body or both of them have an autosomal recessive dominant type defective gene, you can get this disease. However, in most cases, the disease is latent. That is, the symptoms do not appear. However, if you have the presence of such genes in your body, you will be the carrier of this disease in the next generation.

This disease is also more likely to occur if you overuse some of the bad habits of your daily life.

Treatment Porphyria disease vampire

There is no specific treatment for this disease. In other words, if you are a victim of this disease, you have to stay at home like a helpless person. Nocturnal is like Dracula. However, if such symptoms appear, a good doctor should be shown. First you need to understand what kind of porphyria you have. After that, if it is treated accordingly, its severity can be reduced.

In the case of acute porphyria, a type of glucose is used, which will be injected into your body through the mouth or otherwise. Your doctor may also give you an injection of hemin. However, all treatment will start after knowing the root cause of your disease. If it is hereditary then the treatment will be different.

If you have vampire syndrome, you need to change your blood regularly. This will reduce the amount of iron in your liver. However, it is very effective to do the work yourself during this syndrome without the advice of a doctor. If your body is a carrier then you can stay away from this disease as a result of your controlled lifestyle. But you have to go to the doctor regularly. This will allow you to know the current state of your body.
